Who handles your audio and text

DoneA transcription service. It keeps no audio and no text after it returns the result. It also runs one automated safety check.
DoneA text-processing service, for text only, with zero retention.

What we keep and how long

DoneOn your computer, your jobs stay until you delete them.
DoneOur server deletes job files when the job finishes.
DoneDrafts are deleted from our server once downloaded, or after 14 days.
DoneJobs paused at your budget limit are deleted within 14 days.
DoneScopist and proofreader copies: an unopened copy is deleted after 7 days, a downloaded one 14 days after it was sent, and a copy sent back to you no later than 30 days after it arrives.
DoneDelete My Data deletes your data, as listed in our Data Promise.
DoneOff-the-record talk is taken out before you see the draft.

Encryption

DoneHTTPS for every upload and download.
DoneEncrypted backups.
DoneSettings encrypted with a key made for your account.
DoneScopist and proofreader copies locked, so only the person you name can open them.

Agreements and reviews

PlannedA data processing agreement (DPA) for agencies, on request.
PlannedSOC 2.
DoneTL does not sign HIPAA business associate agreements (BAAs).
DoneTests and a security review on every release.
