TranscriptLive works best on Windows 11 (64-bit). Windows 10 also works. TranscriptLive is not available for Mac.
Sign in with the email address and password for your TranscriptLive account. If you have not set your password yet, use the email from our sign-in service first.
Download TranscriptLive and the Quick Guide. The User Guide and the other guides are on the same page.
Right-click the downloaded file, choose Extract All, then double-click Install TranscriptLive. The first time, Windows may show "Windows protected your PC." Choose More info, then Run anyway. If it asks whether to run software from an unknown publisher, choose Run. TranscriptLive is safe to install. The installer checks every file before it installs anything. The installer shows the license; choose Continue. If the Open button shows an error, open TranscriptLive from your desktop or Start menu. When TL first opens, sign in. If you did not already agree to the terms on the sign-up page, TL asks you to read and agree to them first. Adding your computer needs a 6-digit code that TL Support emails you. If TL says your email is not confirmed yet, press Confirm My Email in the same box and type the code from that email. Then start with the practice job. When a new version is ready, TranscriptLive updates itself the next time you open it. If it finds one while you are working, choose Install Now on Home.
